How Skip to Tip Rubbish Collection Works
Want to hire a large skip bin trailer & get the job done all in one simple hassle free go, while only paying for how high you fill your skip bin?
1. Delivery
We turn up on your site with our largest skip bin trailer. Even if you only have 3 cubic metres of rubbish we turn up with a 6.5 cubic metre skip bin.
2. Load
You fill the trailer with as much as you need. There are lines painted on the inside of every skip bin trailer that easily show each cubic metre line so you know how much you've used.
3. Collection
We collect the trailer - cash on collection or we'll send an invoice for bank transfer and you only pay for how high you fill your skip bin.

3 cubic metre skip bin - $280 (3 cubic metres is the minimum load size)
4 cubic metre skip bin - $330
5 cubic metre skip bin - $380
6 Cubic Metre Skip bin trailer - $430 (6.5 cubic meters is a full trailer)

If you only fill the trailer 3 cubic metres, that's all you pay. Payment is made in cash on collection or we will send you an invoice you for bank transfer.

How To Load Your Skip Bin Trailer
Below is a helpful guide on the best way to load your skip bin trailer. Your delivered skip bin will also have this helpful loading guide & price list inside the bin to help guide you.
Tip for recycling:Start with your big bulky items & fill in the gaps with small junk leaving no air pockets.
If you have any bulky Wood, Lounges, Fridges or Freezers, Washing Machines or Dryers please load in first. Bulky items can be stood on their ends & stick up out of the bin. Your driver will always secure & tie down your load & make it safe for towing. Please try to load any loose scrap metal on top of your bulky items for easy sorting later at the tip.
Can never be mixed with general household waste at the tip, It has to be one or the other. However, if you have loose green waste like grass clippings, you can bag it.
If you find that you still have the room in your skip bin and you would like to get rid of bulky / hand grabbing sized green waste, you can load all this on top of your general household loaded last. Your driver will sort all this at the tip. You are welcome to overload the bin past the top within reason, the driver will always secure overloaded bulky green waste.
Any loose small green waste that is likely to fly out of the skip bin on the way to the tip will be left on site. Only larger sized green waste can be overloaded.
Clean cardboard can be loaded to the top of the trailer for recycling.
Keep metal scrap together in the middle of the trailer.
Keep timber together in the middle of the trailer.
Important: All Skip bin loads are only for general purpose household & green waste loads only - never heavy full loads like heavy construction loads like bricks, dirt / concrete, though I do let you mix in bricks and rock with general household loads within reason. Loads are to be kept under 1600 kgs.
Warning: Asbestos and other Hazardous Materials
If at the time of collection of a skip trailer from the hirer's site, or when a skip bin is later emptied by Skip to Tip it is found to contain any asbestos or other hazardous materials, Skip to Tip will charge the hirer for any and all disposal costs, and for any remedial services required due to the presence of the hazardous material.

Called Justin on Monday and Tuesday I had a skip delivered to my house. Justin is amazing, professional and no dramas. I love the fact that you get one trailer with marks on the inside so you can fill to your budget.
The skip itself was extremely clean and well built. I was able to get in it and walk all the way to the end without any movement.
